iced tea secrets

Too hot for tea or just feeling like having an ice-cold drink? Don’t fret making iced tea is oh, so simple!

There are two ways to make it. First, and best tasting way is cold-brewing, yup, it’s not just for coffee. The second, is for when you don’t have the time, we call it the double trouble, this one only takes minutes.

Cold-brew

Simply dump your teabag or scoops of tea in room temperature water, refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, then viola! Iced-tea goodness!

For loose leaf tea, take 1 & 1/2 teaspoons for every cup of water. For teabags, use 2-3 bags per cup.

Double Trouble

Take double the amount of tea as prescribed and half the amount of water, steep it in the suggested temperature and time, then pour to a glass of ice and enjoy!
